Frequently asked questions
How claiming and redeeming works, for the people using deals and the businesses running them.
For customers
Finding a deal, claiming it, and using it.
- What is aiMyDeal?
- A place to find time-limited offers from local businesses — discounts, add-ons and bundles that a business is running for a set period. You claim an offer here and redeem it in person at the business.
- Does it cost anything to claim a deal?
- No. Claiming is free. You pay the business directly for whatever you buy from them, at the discounted terms the offer describes.
- How do I use a deal once I have claimed it?
- Your claim comes with a code. Show it at the business and their staff confirm it on their side. You can find your codes any time under My Deals.
- How long do I have to use it?
- Each claim has its own expiry, shown with the claim, and it never runs past the offer’s own end date. If a claim expires before you use it you can simply claim the offer again, as long as it is still running.
- Can I claim the same deal more than once?
- You can hold one active claim per offer at a time. If that claim expires or you cancel it, the spot is released and you can claim the offer again while it is still running.
- My code did not work. What happened?
- Codes work once. The most common reason is that the code has already been redeemed — the screen will say so, along with when it was used. Our support page walks through the other possibilities.
- A deal I was looking at has disappeared.
- Businesses control their own offers and can pause or end one at any time, and offers stop showing once their end date passes. If you had already claimed it, your claim stays valid — withdrawing an offer never cancels a claim somebody already holds.
- Do I need to install an app?
- No. aiMyDeal runs in your phone’s browser, so there is nothing to download.
For businesses
Publishing offers and redeeming them at your counter.
- What can I publish?
- Time-limited offers of your choosing — a percentage or fixed discount, a free add-on, or a bundle — each with the availability you set: the dates it runs, the days and times it applies, and any limit on how many can be claimed.
- Who controls the terms?
- You do. You set the discount, the window it runs in, how many claims one customer may hold, and any total cap. Nothing is applied to your offer that you did not configure.
- Is there a review step before an offer goes live?
- Yes. Offers are submitted for review and appear in the marketplace once approved. If something needs changing, the reason comes back to you and the offer returns to draft so you can revise and resubmit.
- How do customers redeem?
- A customer shows the code from their claim, and your staff confirm it on the redemption screen. Codes are single use, so a code cannot be presented twice — the screen shows plainly when one has already been redeemed.
- Who on my team can redeem codes?
- Anyone you have given a role in your account. Access is granted deliberately rather than automatically, so a person signing up on their own does not gain access to your business.
- How do we get paid?
- Customers pay you directly, as they always would. There is no post-service commission taken from the sale.
- Can I pause an offer once it is live?
- Yes. Pausing removes it from the marketplace and stops new claims immediately. Claims your customers already hold stay valid and can still be redeemed, so nobody is left with a code you will not honour.
- How do I get a business account?
- Get in touch at tech@fuseonai.com and we will set you up. Business accounts are onboarded by us at the moment rather than through self-service sign-up.
